The affordable Pella Moda mule has a leather sole and rhinestone embellishment (albeit not Swarovski). The Christian Louboutin is also made of leather but with a sequin mirrored finish. The Christian Lacroix pair is a dyeable white silk satin sandal with Swarovski crystals studded on the toe strap. So do these slight differences really make a difference? And what about comfort on this long day? Does price = comfort? Most of us would say no. I have my favorite too-many-seasons-ago-to-say Franco Sarto mules that are a staple in my wardrobe when I'm on my feet all day at work. And I know you have some worn-in old leather foot soldiers of your own.
