What You Wish You Could Say

POSTED BY Kelley Lynn, 21 September 2007

Ladies. Men. Anyone and everyone who has ever been invited to a wedding in which you don't "really" want to go to ... Don't you sometimes wish that you could throw away every etiquette book, every set of rules, and just tell the Bride and Groom how you really feel? I know. I wish the same thing. But sometimes it's just not possible. That's why the good folks over at the hilarious website www.someecards.com have done it for us. So while you're reading a few of these funny wedding cards, think about what YOU would like to say in your card to the happy couple ... if you only could. And, for even more fun, come up with your own creative wedding card messages and send them to me in the comments or at my email. I would love to hear your deepest, most shameful thoughts. It makes me feel a bit less evil.

My sister sent me the "Congrats on probably not dying alone" after I announced my engagement... so glad that other people appreciate this kind of humor! See you on brides.com!

Oh yes.. I love this kind of humor. As a matter of fact, I live for it!

LOL - I have wanted to say - ' Well, good luck with the rebound engagement, but don't get your hopes up, your old boyfriend may never come to rescue you and then you will be worse off than you were before!'....and, as a bride's maid....'I'll do anything to help you with your special day - except wear those torturous, matching shoes!'
