Conde Nast's Dream House
Getting ready to play house with your new hubby? Before you do, check out Conde Nast’s New York City Dream House. This tour-able showcased home is setup to house all info the newly-engaged, pre-engaged, and newlywed couples need to inspire their lives together. From bridal to beauty, fashion to fitness, to home accessories and registry items, this modern spin on an old home brings together the editors, experts, and entertainers from Brides, Modern Bride, and Elegant Bride Magazines. You and your hubby or hubby-to-be can tour this temporary bridal and new nester Mecca from October 18th through November 15, 2007. Tickets are available for purchase and a portion of the proceeds benefit the fantastic I Do Foundation.
Some of the soon-to-be seen highlights include rooms designed by celebrity decorators using wares from Bloomingdales, Pampered Chef and more. Sylvia Weinstock, the godmother of wedding cakes will take you into her world of sweets and celebrity designer and new host of Get Married, David Tutera will talk about what’s hot and what’s not. Manicures, makeovers, workouts, classes, and cocktail parties are all available at this new hot spot for all those brides-to-be lucky enough to be in the area. You can even meet and greet (and drink tea or cosmos) with some of your favorite Conde Naste Bridal Editors and hear their tips and must haves for your big day.
