Wedding planning is about personalization and special touches. What better way to make your guests feel special than to serve them a welcome cocktail? It’s an easy way to provide an instant lift for your guests as they arrive from the ceremony.
A welcome cocktail can be anything, from you or your fiancé’s favorite drink, to a family recipe celebrating its heritage. It can also reflect the time of year, a winter wedding, for instance, would be well served by an icy peppermint martini, while Champagne with a fresh fruit puree is perfect for spring.
If you’re planning a destination wedding, ask the wedding coordinator if the resort has a signature cocktail that could be mixed-up for your guests, adding a layer of celebration as well as a personal touch away from home.
The welcome cocktail should be colorful and festive, one that will appeal to the majority of guests, save the vodka shots for the after party, and try to have a non-alcoholic version available for those who don’t partake in libations.
As the summer wedding season is in full swing, a fabulous and flirty cocktail perfect for a group is the Mango Tango. With a winning combination of tropical fruit juices, the name alone adds an instant zing to any party, and is sure to make your welcome cocktail a memorable one!

Sounds delicious. I would experiment with adding some kiwi and orange juice into the mix as well.
